Privacy Policy
Welcome to Knock Knock. These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”) explain the rules, rights, and responsibilities that apply when you use our platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using Knock Knock.
By signing up or using Knock Knock, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement in full. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
1. Overview of Knock Knock
Knock Knock is a digital platform designed to assist homeowners, buyers, renters, and real estate professionals in evaluating potential property issues, planning home improvement projects, and receiving general construction-related guidance. Our Services include:
- Written answers from a licensed architect to user-submitted photos and questions
- Scheduled video calls with a licensed architect
- Project planning assistance
- Guidance on construction quality, sequencing, and early issue detection
Knock Knock does not provide physical inspections, regulatory certification, or formal architectural, engineering, or legal services. All guidance is informational and intended to support, not replace, your judgment or that of a licensed professional.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to use Knock Knock. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. User Responsibilities
When using Knock Knock, you agree to:
- Submit accurate, lawful, and respectful content
- Use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not misuse, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the platform
- Accept that Knock Knock is a reference tool, not a substitute for in-person inspections or certified evaluations
4. Use of Knock Knock’s Services
Knock Knock helps users interpret visible property conditions, flag potential risks, and understand possible next steps. While our answers are guided by field expertise, the platform’s feedback is based on limited input and should be considered general reference, not professional advice.
Knock Knock is not liable for how you use the information provided, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of our responses for any particular purpose.
You agree not to use Knock Knock’s output in legal disputes, insurance claims, compliance filings, or as a substitute for hiring licensed professionals.
5. Account Creation and Security
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately at zuoda@knockknock.today if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Pricing and Payments
Knock Knock may offer:
- Pay-Per-Query: A fixed price for each submission (photo or question)
- Video Calls: A fixed price for each scheduled video call with an architect
Written questions are non-refundable once sent. Video calls can be rescheduled, cancelled and refunded as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. We reserve the right to modify pricing and features with prior notice.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
a. Video Calls
- Rescheduling and cancellation. A scheduled video call may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before its scheduled start time. Once less than 24 hours remain before the scheduled start time, the booking may not be rescheduled or cancelled.
- How to cancel. Rescheduling and cancellation must be made through your booking page on the Knock Knock website. A cancellation made by any other means within 24 hours of the scheduled start time is not eligible for a call token or refund.
- Call tokens. When a video call is cancelled, whether by you or by Knock Knock, one call token will be credited to your account. A call token may be applied to one 30-minute video call, is applied automatically to your next video call booking, and is valid for 12 months from the date it is credited, except that a call token returned upon your cancellation of a video call booked with a call token retains its original expiry date. Call tokens may not be used for written questions.
- Refunds. While a call token remains valid and unused, you may exchange it through your booking page for a refund to the original payment card, after a processing fee of $2.59.
- Missed calls. A video call that is not attended at its scheduled time is not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
b. Written Questions
- Fees for written questions are non-refundable once the question has been submitted.
c. Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment card and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.
- If you are charged more than once for the same booking or question, the duplicate payment will be refunded automatically.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at zuoda@knockknock.today.
